DARE 30: Be the Connector

Jason….I really do like many of these Dare’s because it makes you look at things a little differently…just stepping things up a notch.  Like this Dare….connecting people.  I always try to make it very apparent people  are different in this community.  When we drive through the community, I wave to absolutely everyone…even those I don’t know.  When I do know them, I stop & say hi and introduce my future homeowner passengers…but, (speaking of stepping up a notch) I haven’t made a special effort to do that if people are not out and about…ie: I like the idea of arranging that to happen.  A good thought.  I also always try to mention to people that if you do not want to make new friends, this is not the place for you.  Walk down the street and people will actually stop you and talk. You can go out to dinner with someone new every couple weeks…..it is amazing.  There is even a blog for the community with multiple forums for people to share ideas. This would actually be a good thing in all communities….it’s very cool.
